Concerts & Events 2017-2018

Welcome to the Northern Orchestra of British Columbia 2017-2018 season!

Here we are again at the beginning of a new season, beginning of a new format with the Coffee Concerts a regular part of the season, and a beginning of a progressive approach to programming where we perform a movement of a work each concert (this year it will be the beginning of the Beethoven 8th Symphony sequence), which will culminate in a complete performance of this work in the final concert.

We hope you will be out to support us this year, as we also attempt to start new beginnings with our audience, and as we go through another cycle of growth as a the premier performing and teaching ensemble in the North, we will have a new cycle of growth with our audience as well. We would ask you to bring a friend to the next concert, so that we can continue to bring fine music to the North in our most unique fashion and grow along with our younger players who will soon be the core of the orchestra!

We have created this simple list of our upcoming concerts and coffee house performances for the coming year. Please Take Note, and make a point of coming out to support your local musicians.
